1. Type of event
So what’s so special about the EDEN Duo? The terrain, the records set, the prize money and the vibe. The record set by John Collins and Hano Smit in 2006/7 will be a challenge for who-ever think they are great multi sport athletes. At present they still offer R1000.00 for any pair to beat their time of 14hours, 22 minutes. The EDEN Duo will be a classic in terms of Adventure Racing, enabling more athletes than ever to experience off the beaten track multi sport racing. It’s an ideal corporate challenge.

The total distance of 150k’s will give you all the adrenalin of adventure racing, plus it’s only a weekend away from home with the start only on the Friday afternoon in George. The event will be annually hosted at Saasveld (Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University Campus in George).

The Outeniqua hiking trail behind Cradock Peak in George were very much overgrown in 2007, but we will donate funds to clear the trail for the 2008,2009 event. The route will take you to breathtaking destinations. The following will help to understand the event;
